I found this interesting article online today about a new book out for single women. The book “Treat Them Mean and Keep Them Keen” by Gerry Stergiopoulos is the basis for the article.

I found the article facinating from a romantic fiction writer perspective – it’s almost “back to basics” in many aspects. Not sure if the advice is any good or not. The comments are worth a read too.

There was I thinking Elizabeth Bennet won Mr Darcy’s heart because of her wit, when all along it was because she was playing hard to get!

My debut novel, The Paradise Will, has already received some great reviews, full details of which can be found on my web-site.  However, I was thrilled to read Stephanic Hochadel’s comments in the August 2008 edition of the prestigious Historical Novels Review magazine.  I won’t repeat the whole review here as it contains mild spoilers, but here’s the all-important last paragraph:-

‘The Paradise Will is a historical novel in the vein of the great Georgette Heyer.  The plot is intriguing and the action unrelenting.  I did not want to put this book down at all, regardless of the early hour.  A highly entertaining read!’
